About the RMA Conference
Rural Medicine Australia (RMA17) is the annual conference and medical science forum hosted by the Australian College of Remote and Rural Medicine (ACRRM) and the Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA).
The event regularly attracts over 600 healthcare professionals, and is the established peak national event for rural doctors in Australia.
ACRRM and RDAA continue to ensure the conference provides a diverse, relevant program that meets the wide-ranging interests and needs of attending delegates. Activities include professional development workshops, government policy discussions; contemporary keynote speakers; presentations from medical researchers; political forums and opportunities for professional and social networking.

Your hosts
The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine sets the standards for educating and training medical Fellowship candidates in the specialty of General Practice, and for the ongoing professional development of rural and remote practitioners.
The Rural Doctors Association of Australia provides public advocacy, political representation and professional support for specialist general practitioners and registrars working in rural and remote Australia.
Both are member-based, not-for-profit organisations that recognise the significant leadership roles rural doctors play in the health, sustainability and social cohesion of their communities. Each organisation benefits from the strong involvement of its rural practitioner members.
