The peak national event for rural doctors

Rural Medicine Australia is the peak annual conference and medical science forum of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and the Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA).

The conference this year was held in Melbourne from 19 - 21 October 2017 and delivered a packed program full of innovative and informative presentations, workshops, and events with a full complement of exhibitors.

A unique medical conference

Rural Medicine Australia presents an engaging program designed to educate and inform new and practising rural health professionals. It attracts a diverse and collaborative community of rural doctors, junior doctors, students, educators, academics, and medical practitioners who are passionate about generalist medicine in rural and remote communities.

For Delegates

As the peak national event for rural doctors, the 2017 RMA Conference attracted over 600 healthcare professionals from across the nation.

The 2017 program catered for the wide-ranging interest and needs of delegates, including professional development workshops, informative keynote speakers, policy discussions, political forums, research presentations and social and professional networking opportunities.
