Overview
This hands-on practical session will cover simple techniques and useful tips for performing injection and aspiration of the more common musculoskeletal joints and bursae conditions in your practice. With the advent of ultrasound-guided injections, it is easy to become deskilled or lose confidence in performing basic injections. More relevant to rural and remote medicine is that radiology practices are not always readily accessible nor is personal ultrasound equipment easily affordable. The aim of this session is to arm you with the confidence and practical skills for performing important diagnostic and potentially therapeutic treatments that can save your patients both time and money.
