Overview
This workshop is designed for doctors of all levels who are keen to improve their skills in the diagnosis and management of fractures.
Alpine Sports Medicine is a unique field of Rural General Practice in Victoria. Alpine doctors manage a broad range of snow sports injuries, the majority of which are orthopaedic trauma. (90 mins)

Biography
Dr Jeff Robinson has over 20 years experience as a rural GP with a special interest in Alpine Medicine. Jeff is a director of the Mount Beauty and Falls Creek Medical Centres and one of the founding supervisors of the Alpine Medicine program delivered by Murray City Country Coast GP Training. Jeff is an enthusiastic teacher. Every year, both at Falls Creek and Mount Beauty, Jeff and his colleagues supervise medical students, interns and GP registrars on rotation. Jeff has extensive experience in rural (GP) radiology and is a lecturer with Monash University's radiology course designed for GPs.

Biography
Dr Angela Stratton joined Mount Beauty and Falls Creek Medical Centres as an ACRRM registrar in 2012. Angela is now also a supervisor as well as the Medical Educator overseeing the Alpine Medicine Program with MCCC. Through this role she is coordinator of the Alpine Medicine Workshop - a workshop specially designed to teach registrars the specific skills required to work in the unique alpine environment.
