Overview
Session 1 : Workshop : In this workshop AProf Bill Nimorakiotakis, ACRRM Rural EM Forum, will take us on a tour of the online ‘ruralEM forum’. The ruralEM forum regularly presents new and challenging online cases and invites discussion from the forum of over 500 members. Cases are chosen to cover most of the ACRRM AST curriculum over the course of the year. Participation in the forum is a valuable resource for participants future practice and exam preparation!

Biography
Dr Graham Emblen has practices as a GP in Toowoomba for over 25 yrs, worked as a Medical Educator for over 20 yrs with the RACGP, Cognitive Institute, University of Queensland, General Practice Training Queensland and Northern Territory General Practice Education. He is currently the Director of Training with NTGPE and a senior medical Educator with GPTQ He has been involved in a number of education research grants, of which the GATE project is the most current. He is passionate about improving the quality of care provided in General Practice and building the evidence base to support this.

Biography
Sharon McGowan joined Stroke Foundation as Chief Executive Officer in 2016. Having spent her career in the health sector, Sharon is an experienced communicator, with a background in management, community engagement, culture transformation, health promotion, fundraising and the volunteer service. Originally trained as a registered nurse, Sharon has worked in Australia and the UK with a range of government statutory authorities and not-for-profit organisations. Sharon holds a Masters of Business Administration from Cranfield University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Acutely aware of the devastating impact that a stroke can have on survivors and their family members, Sharon is passionate about bringing government, health professionals and the broader community together to fight this disease. Sharon aims to make a real difference by increasing awareness of stroke and support for it as a major health priority.

Biography
A/Prof Vasilios Nimorakiotakis MBBS, FACEM, FACRRM. Bill Nimo (full name Vasilios Nimorakiotakis) is an emergency physician and the deputy director of Epworth Richmond’s emergency department, Senior staff specialist with Retrieval Service Queensland (RSQ) and a senior staff specialist at Sunshine Hospital in Melbourne. He has a special interest in retrieval medicine, toxinology, emergency medicine in developing countries and teaching. Bill has been at Epworth Richmond emergency department for over 17 years. He is married to Cherie and has three awesome kids Isabelle, Luca and Noah.
