1: the overall goals of the ACRGA
2: results from the Grandparenting process
3: 2025 trainee demographics
4: summary of assessment outcomes from 2024 and outcomes to date from the 2025 cohort
5: scope and volume of practice for trainees
6: challenges faced during implementation of the ACRGA
7: results of a formal review of the first year of the ACRGA
8: new site accreditation process
9: future initiatives

Biography
Dr Peter Gilchrist has been heavily involved in the development of the ACRGA for the past 6 years. Peter is now the Chairperson for the Tripartite Committee that governs the ACRGA. He is also a State Support Officer for the ACRGA in SA and a Supervisor of Training for the trainee at Whyalla Hospital.
Peter works clinically at Port Augusta and Whyalla Hospitals in the mid north of SA and is the Head of the anaesthetics department at Whyalla Hospital.
Peter is the Chairperson for the RACGP Rural Anaesthetics Working Group and is the Anaesthetics Advisor to the Rural Generalist Program SA.
In his spare time, Peter has research interests into the safety of anaesthesia delivered by rural GPs.
