Defining the Future - A Collaborative Review of Proposed Rural Generalist Capabilities

1:00 PM - 2:05 PM

Abstract Overview

This interactive workshop offers participants a unique opportunity to engage with, and influence, the future direction of the ACRRM Rural Generalist Curriculum.

Participants will work in small groups to review elements of the draft curriculum to assess the relevance, clarity, and completeness of the proposals and contribute feedback and suggestions for refinement.

This workshop is designed to foster critical dialogue, encourage diverse perspectives, and generate practical insights to test assumptions, identify gaps, and refine priorities.

Insights from the workshop will directly inform the next phase of curriculum development, ensuring the curriculum is not only evidence-based but also contextually relevant, culturally sensitive, and responsive to the evolving needs of our doctors and our rural, remote and First Nations communities.
