Resilience strategies for rural doctors
Abstract Overview
This workshop aims to provide practical strategies for rural doctors to improve their personal resilience.
It draws on the theoretical frameworks in "Resilience by Design" and the experiences of the presenter in living,working and teaching in Extreme environment settings.
A combination of presentation and table top exercises will be used to examine real world problems and help delegates devise their own personal approaches.

Biography
Edi Albert is a Rural Generalist with both clinical and educational backgrounds in Remote and extreme environment healthcare. He has worked, amongst many places in Antarctica, Nepal, Perisher ski resort and with RFDS in central and NW Australia.
