Clinical Updates for the Rural Generalist

Abstract Overview

Are you a busy Rural Generalist who wants to leave RMA 2024 confident you are up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines that are relevant to your broad scope of practice including primary care? Do you want to be across the resources that your registrars are referencing as part of their training? Want to learn about new apps before your patients do? Then this is the session for you!

The ACRRM Education Development team is proud to present the Clinical Updates for the Rural Generalist panel discussion. We have carefully curated clinical resources mapped to the Rural Generalist Curriculum, from peak medical bodies in Australia and internationally. Our panel of five practicing Rural Generalists will take our audience through clinical updates that have occurred in the past 12 months, in topics including Type 2 Diabetes, cardiovascular disease prevention, osteoporosis, Women’s Health, Dementia, musculoskeletal conditions and more. The panelists will discuss their own application of these guidelines in their current clinical context from across Australia.

As part of the panel discussion, there will be an opportunity for you to contribute to the discussion and ask questions. We hope you’ll join us!
