Latest tools and innovations to improve health outcomes and optimise practice

Abstract Overview

A case study on tools and innovations to improve health outcomes and optimise practice. We will also explore where AI and other innovative technologies are taking us and what future practice might look like.
Coverage:
• PracticeProfiles – analytics for clinicians with functionality including monitoring patient health outcome targets and tracking pathology test followups. Can be the basis for clinical and quality improvement audits to improve health outcomes, support practice accreditation and deliver up to 65% of annual CPD requirements.
• BetterConsult - pre-consultation tool which captures patients’ presenting symptoms, medications and other information, translating and pre-populating it into concise consultation notes.
• Lyrebird Health – AI-driven medical scribe tool that listens and ambiently captures information during patient consultations, generating notes and referrals, and over time, learning to reflect the voice and style of the GP.
• HotDoc – patient engagement platform used for appointments, recalls, reminders, “no action” results messages, SMS and other patient communications.
• Cubiko – toolkit giving each GP a dashboard view of their practice, including appointments, billings, utilisation and opportunities for improvement.
• Surgical Partners – financial system delivering reconciled earnings summaries, billing information and accounting/tax-friendly reports.
• Telehealth including CDM services for rural patients.
