This workshop will highlight the learnings of the Queensland Rural Generalist Program over the past decade and cover the new strategies of their expansion project. This session, introduced and led by Dr Denis Lennox will aim to address each of the Program's four elements in depth. An update on the Recognition of RGM and Value of Practice will open the workshop leading into a more indepth look at the Supply Line / Pathway including (i) Recruitment (ii) Prevocational Training; (iii) Advanced Specialised Training; (iv) Vocational Training (involving RTOs). The final section of this workshop would look at the Service and Workforce redesign and evaluation of impact.
