Rural doctors and medical students interested in global health and international rural generalist medicine are invited to attend this session which reviews the theory, practice, opportunities and policy implications of international rural generalist medicine. Speakers will provide unique insights into the world of rural generalist medicine across a number of different international settings, and will review the established and emerging evidence of the benefits to global and community health.
