Specialist presenters from the Jean Hailes for Womens Health organisation will present current updates and findings relevant to diagnosis and management of various aspects of women's health. Prof Jane Fisher PhD, BSc (Hons), MAPS Jean Hailes Professor of Women’s Health and Director Jean Hailes Research Unit School of Public Health & Preventive Medicine, Monash University will present on Perinatal depression; Dr Mandy Deeks BEd, ATCL, Grad Dip Psych, PhD, MAPS, GAICD Head of Translation, Education and Communication at Jean Hailes for Women’s Health. Deputy chair, The Royal Women’s Hospital, Human Research Ethics Committee; Deputy chair, Melbourne IVF Human Research Ethics Committee - will present : Filling the gaps in women's mental health; Dr Meredith Frearson BMBS, FRACGP, DRCOG, DFFP GP in the city in Adelaide who has broad experience in all aspects of Women's Health. She is a member of the PCOS Alliance and was a member of both the Steering Committee and 2 of the 4 sub committees responsible for the development of the NH&MRC Evidence based PCOS Guidelines - will give a clinical update on diagnosis and management of PCOS. Dr Elizabeth Farrell AM, MBBS Hon LLD FRANZCOG FRCOG A gynaecologist and founding member of Jean Hailes for Women’s Health. She is the Head of the Menopause Unit at Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne. She is a Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Monash University. Her particular interest is in helping women effectively manage menopause. - will give a clinical update on the diagnosis and management of Endometriosis; Dr Elizabeth Farrell will also present a Clinical update on the menopausal patient. * Please Note: (3.5 hours contact) Participation in this session by eligible docs can be counted towards a 'combination' of sessions throughout event for claiming against the Obs component of the Procedural Grant
