This session, facilitated and presented by senior clinicians working in the area of Emergency Medicine/rural retrieval/aero-medicine, will include introductory lecture presentations, followed by open forum discussions on various cases presented by the expert panel (e.g. airway (laryangeal trauma); bariatric sepsis; psych sedation; polytrauma; obstetric; paediatric) : PART 1 : 1/ Basic introduction of all panel representatives; 2/ Physics, physiology and the environment; 3/ Critical care in the pre-hospital environment; 4/ Airway tips and tricks to get you out of a tricky situation. PART 2 : 1/ Transfer of the Psychiatric patient; 2/ Busting the "Prehospital Myths"; 3/ Open panel case presentations and discussions.
